This is a Leo Jaymz H-S-S fender like strat. I have done extensive mods on it to bring it up to my picky standards. The neck pickup has been upgraded to a really nice single coil from a custom guy out of Florida. The bridge pickup is a GFS humbucker. The original was trash. I left the middle pickup alone as I didn’t really use it. The neck was like a baseball bat so it had to be sanded down to a depth of 20mm at the nut. Smooth out with 2000 grit sandpaper. Very natural taper to body. Natural “no stain” finish. Looks & feels really nice now. Fret board is good & straight from nut to body. Radius is 14. Tuners had to go. Just light use of tremolo would put it out of tune so I chose d’addario planet waves locking tuners. No tools needed as after tighting the lock screw, just turn the tuner & it cuts off the string for you. One & dun. As for the bridge, it is a full floating tremelo unit. Than means the lever goes up & down, full range. I added a brass tone block on the under side for better sustain. Set up for d’addario 9.5 strings. Comes with a gig bag. This is more like a dust cover than a bag. Very light guage & not for real travel protection. Will work fine for setting in the corner or a closet. I guess it may be ok to get from point A to point B. Sound wise now is a vast improvement over what it was from my original starting point. Way Way better. Big difference in tones now. Its never at a nice strat level but very nice for beginners to intermediate style players. Don’t believe all the hype on the Amazon reviews….. It needs improvements….my own improvements are well over 100 bux ….& I nick-named it my Trump guitar. Please don’t hate me for that one. The flag design just screams a patriotic theme to me…..
