Item Description Fender American Standard Stratocaster Upgrade MN OWT 2014 (2014) Fender American Standard Stratocaster Upgrade MN OWT 2014 This is an upgraded version of the American Standard Stratocaster, known as Fender’s classic “Amesta”, 2014s Olympic white color, maple fingerboard. Amesta’s Stratocaster incorporates modern specifications into a traditional style. This model is after renewal, and since it is 2014s, the joint plate is a commemorative plate for the 60th anniversary. The classic combination of alder body and maple neck achieves a dry tone typical of Fender. Maple fingerboard with 22 frets, neck has a slim C shape, fingerboard radius is 9.5, and medium jumbo type frets are used. The upgraded version after the renewal has a pickup made by a custom shop and is equipped with a “Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s Strat”. (It’s difficult to say for certain because there is no CS notation on the back, but it is probably original) In addition, the pickguard has been replaced with a mirror type, and the selector knob and control knob have also been replaced with different ones, and the pegs are also Sparzel lock types. (No original parts) Controls are 1VOL / 2TONE (front, center & rear), 5way selector. This change is completely conscious of Nile Rodgers’ signature model “Nile Rodgers Hitmaker Stratocaster” released in 2022, and it has become a hitmaker-like Amesta! It is easy to use while maintaining the vintage sound. A recommended book with added flavor! Fender hard shell case (there are cracks on the corners), arm, monogram strap, and cable are included. At first glance, I thought the Nile Rodgers model had arrived, but it turned out to be a regular Amesta model. The signature one has a 21F specification and a different pickup. On the other hand, as the name “Standard” suggests, this one has 22F, so it may be the almighty Strat that anyone can use! My impressions after playing it are that Amesta is the best. It has a nice cutting feel that only a maple fingerboard can provide, and I definitely like this one more than the current model. Of course, opinions differ from person to person, but I think Amesta is the strongest candidate for a Strat in this price range. Of course, the playing conditions are excellent! It’s perfect for those who wanted a Nile Rodgers model, including the lock pegs and appearance, and if you can change the parts yourself, you can enjoy various modifications based on this. It’s a really interesting Strat!Personally, I recommend it because it’s a good Strat that I’d like people to use as is! This item has undergone basic maintenance and cleaning, so it is ready to play immediately! [Exterior condition] In addition to dullness of parts, there are some minor scratches. There is discoloration on the contour, sticker marks on the back of the head, and dents on the front of the head. [Truss rod] OK [Fret condition] Approximately 80% remaining in good condition with no chatter or clogging of sound!
