Created with the same crescent fill design as the original and fitted with a stainless steel nib. The metal body comes in a unique metallic gunmetal and comes in a luxury gift box. The Conklin Pen Company changed the writing industry forever when in 1897 it patented the self-filling pen known as the Crescent Filler. Soon recognized and hailed by legendary author Mark Twain, Conklin thrived and Crescent Fillers became one of the most beloved pens in American history. This is a New with original box Conklin Limited Edition Crescent Filler in Gunmetal (M). Keeping true to the original style and design, this new Crescent Gunmetal features an exclusive twist. Using plating along the length of the barrel and cap, this captivating writing instrument displays an eye-catching mix of metallic dark hues. Each Crescent Filler Gunmetal is paired with polished gunmetal trims and segments of durable black resin along the grip and locking ring. Each pen is engraved with Mark Twains distinctive signature along the band and is equipped with the original Conklin spring-loaded rocker clip patented in 1916. Tastefully engraved along the bottom of the cap is the limited edition number exclusive to each pen. The Crescent Filler Gunmetal is a limited edition run of 630 out of 1898 pieces and is available in a medium nib JoWo black steel nib grade.
