Failure to use the bracket could lead to premature failure.Reinstall the downstream oxygen sensor.STEP 5:Complete the catalytic converter installation:1.Tighten the converter inlet flange nuts and torque to the manufacturer’s specifications.2.Reinstall hardware for the outlet flange.3.Tighten the converter bolts and torque to manufacturer’s specifications.STEP 6:Reinstall the heat shield and oxygen sensor.Reinstall support bracket.Reinstall the engine cover and the cold air intake.
