Everything works on this except the Tape 1 deck Play/Record There is a belt damaged and needs to be replaced for it to work. I was not able to get it apart to replace the belt that is on the record side as it was behind the mechanisms and it was very tight and too much time would have been spent to replace it and I did not want to damage anything. It was going to have to be taken apart to clean the spot where the belt goes on as it’s a rubbery consistency on the spool where the belt melted/disintegrated. There was a spring on an arm that I started to take off and realized it will probably take over an hour to get the whole thing apart to replace it (my lack of knowledge on this particular model, it could take less time but I did not want to damage it) the spring is slightly stretched out and needs to be put back into place. The tape 2 side works fine without issues. besides that the only other issue is the white tuner gear ribbon was broken off on the end. I attempted to glue it back together, but it would not glue back, so I used some blue painters tape on the back of it and it holds in place and works and still shows the proper AM/FM frequency (see last photo) it gets a little harder to turn the knob around the 88.1FM mark but still tunes fine. Any of the frequencies after that tune smoothly Besides those issues this in in good shape and works and plays great. Im shocked at the sound quality of this. I tested it out with a CD player along with a tape and the AM/FM. All the buttons and knobs work and is in great shape for its age. The EQ works great and sounds even better!
