One of the standout features of the ICON 2 Worlds is the incorporation of optional and development parts used by Andreas Stiebler, which are now included in the kit. This elevates the ICON 2 to the status of the ultimate RC Formula racing machine. Some of the notable additions include a Horizontal alloy wing mount for improved strength, a vertical carbon fiber wing mount allowing for a 5mm lower wing position, and lightweight low center of gravity CNC alloy rear transmission housings. These lowered bearing housings ensure that small-diameter foam tires can achieve the desired ride heights, enhancing the car’s performance. The ICON 2 Worlds doesn’t stop there. It introduces a range of updated features, such as rear springs that allow for full suspension travel when using softer spring rates, an updated rear spring seat, Montech front and rear wings for improved performance, and castor inserts with pre-defined settings. The option to run more front droop with the front king pin adds a level of customization that can result in increased front grip. The kit also includes a carbon fiber Side Link Mount, offering more space for electronics installation, and a carbon fiber full-length chassis that enhances cornering predictability and rear traction. This chassis now accepts optional rectangular weights for ballasting up to the weight limit, providing a balanced and customizable racing experience. In addition to these innovations, the ICON 2 Worlds retains all the great features of its predecessor. The inclusion of a gear differential improves cornering ability, on-power steering, and corner entry stability, especially in high-traction conditions. The left-hand rear wheel clamp design, along with the aluminum lower and carbon fiber upper wing mounts, contributes to the kit’s durability and balance. The V2 damper rods with a large internal hole diameter make maintenance easier, ensuring longer-lasting and consistent damping. The car also offers a range of adjustment options for front-end, rear-end, and body mounting, allowing racers to fine-tune their setup for optimal performance!
