The clutch disc is unique in that it uses a double spring which is held in place by a unique spring retaining plate design.Stronger, more agressive clutch than stockRetains stock pedal feelPerfect for mild engines Kits come complete with a pilot bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate and an alignment tool. After working as an engineer in Manufacturing for over 40 years, I have learned not to make generalizations about products country of origin, just each product individually. The clutch disc is also a high quality item, thick friction facing, rivets are attached well. The kit even includes an alignment tool. I was unable to use the pilot bushing that is also included, because the Cadillac 500 crankshaft will require me to machine my own (along with a custom Cadillac flywheel). For regular Chevrolet applications the pilot bushing will be just fine. Cons: Packaging could be improved Pros: Excellent choice for those on a budget Yes, I recommend this product.
